Expected DA From Jan 2014-Possibility Of Increase Of DA By 11%

As per the present state DA has reached 90 %. At this juncture, Central Government Employees are eagerly waiting to know the percentage of increase in the month of Jan 2014. The DA increase in the month of Jan 2014 does have certain importance in it. Because when DA reaches 100%, there is a possibility of increase of certain allowances also simultaneously. As per the recent publication of AICPIN value, DA has reached the height of 93.93 % at present. During the coming four months, if the AICPIN value increases by 1point, there is a possibility of DA reaching the 100 % mark. Likewise, if the average becomes 2point, there is a chance of reaching 101 % as DA. During the ensuing four months, based on the value calculation of AICPIN, it would be possible to calculate DA accurately. Still, there is maximum possibility of increase of DA by 11 %

  1. as per 6th CPC there is no provision for merger of DA exceeding. such merger of DA provision was existed as per 5th CPC when such existing provision beneficial to staff was removed in 6th CPC why the central govt staff has not objected to it. was it not a serious lapse from staff association. Association should take enough care in future especially whenever provision benefit to staff is removed

  2. Ithink 7th cpc will think over increment on yearly pension or hike in basic pension from 61yrs of age

  3. All the associations of each and every central govt. dept. failed miserably in not racking up this during the implementation of 6th CPC. Now shouting from roof top would not be of any helpf

  4. let us learn from past mistakes and do the correction course. Now it is time for collective bargaining. It is the best time our pleas will be heard by the government, because of the middle class upsurge as "aam admi" which is almost exclusively supported by the ever neglected govt employees. Now the message have already been made clear:" give ears to our voice or get bundled out".
Now our legitimate demand befor the 7th cpc would be pay hike equivalent to a factor which is the product of multiplication of DA as on date of implementation and accumulated gdp growth of the 10 year period. As a presumption, on 01/01/2016 this would be 2.35(DAwill be approx.135%) x1.7(average 7% annual gdp growth)=3.995,approx: 4. Hence the pay should be increased by a multiplication factor of 4.

  5. There exists pay differences when we look into different ministerial employees e.g an Assistant professor (e.g in IIT, Central Universities etc.) at entry level will be getting Basic of Rs.30000+GP Rs.7500, where as a Scientist with 7 years of R&D experience is getting Basic of Rs.21000+GP Rs.6600. This difference exists in other levels also. Clearly indicating giving less importance to R&D communities (like DRDO,ISRO, Dept. AE etc.) and also less facilities for scientific communities e.g : Laptop, residential telephone facilities are provided to officials at junior levels in Railway Dept. wheres as one has to complete a min. of 16 years of service in Scientific depts. One can see nowadays students of 10+2, Graduates, Ph.D scholars are provided by laptops. Salaries viz. and facilities viz. the scientific community should not lag with anybody. It is very essential as these communities are working for very crucial areas of technological development and security of total country. This is to be looked into very seriously.

  6. As the code of conduct will be imposed by the Election commission very soon due to ensuing parliamentary election, it will be in the fitness of things if Government of India announce 11% DA w.e.f.1.1.14 and merger of 50% of DA with the basic pay. The government of India has yet to announce the chairman and members of 7th Pay Commission. I hope it will be announced very soon by the government.
